Celebrating Retirees — We celebrated four retirees on Wednesday, May 29, who have 99 years of combined service at York Tech! Melissa Chapman (37 years), David Merges (36 years), Bruce Riley (5 years), and Georgiann Warner (21 years) have been instrumental to the success of our students, and we'd like to thank them for their tremendous dedication. Additionally, we recognized employees who recently reached noteworthy service milestones. Afterward, the entire staff enjoyed a catered lunch before the start of summer break. [Photos]
Senior Class Trip — The day before commencement, seniors and their class advisors enjoyed an afternoon on board a cruise ship in Baltimore's Inner Harbor! 2024-25 Calendar Updates — Revisions to the 2024-25 school calendar were approved during the Joint Operating Committee meeting on May 30. The changes affected three days: April 17, April 25, and May 2. Parents and caregivers should discard previous versions of the calendar and click the link below to access the latest version. Musicians Needed — The York Tech drumline is looking for enthusiastic musicians for the fall season. Prior music experience is a plus but not required. Rehearsals start in August.
