School District Meal Resources: 


School District of the City of York 


Starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020, The School District of the City of York will have carry-out meals available at Ferguson K-8 Door 6 rear playground, Goode K-8 Door 15 circle-side of the building, and William Penn Senior High School Door 15 corner of College and Pershing Ave. for all school-aged students 18 and under. A bagged breakfast will be available from 8:00-9:00 A.M. and a hot take-out lunch will be available from 11:00 A.M. -1:00 P.M. daily during the closure. Meals will only be provided to students who are present. Take-out is not available for students who are not present. Parents are welcome to accompany their student(s) to pick-up their meal(s). Per federal guidelines, adults are not permitted to partake in this meal program. Students may go to any of the open locations to get a meal. 

As a reminder, all-district buildings will be closed to the public unless your student is coming to pick up a meal. 

partir del Martes 17 de Marzo de 2020, el Distrito Escolar de la Ciudad de York tendrá comidas para llevar disponibles en las siguientes escuelas Ferguson K-8 puerta # 6 cerca del área de juegos, Goode K-8 puerta # 15 en la rotonda y William Penn Senior High School puerta # 15 esquina de College Ave y Pershing Ave para todos los estudiantes en edad escolar 18 años y menores. Un desayuno en bolsa estará disponible de 8:00 a.m. a 9:00 a.m. y un almuerzo caliente para llevar estará disponible a partir de las 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. diariamente durante el cierre. Las comidas solo se proporcionarán a los estudiantes que estén presentes. La comida para llevar no está disponible para estudiantes que no están presentes. Dallastown School District 

Beginning Monday, March 16 grab-n-go meals are available to all students. Meals are available Monday  through Friday throughout the school closure. Meals can be picked up at the high school, Door 4 (next to the loading dock by the stadium) from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Hanover Public School District will offer bagged meals to all students beginning Wednesday, March 17. Any student who would like a meal at no cost can report to Hanover Street Elementary School or Washington Elementary School between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Additionally, HPSD will continue the Ruth Harvest program for the elementary students with bag pick-up at the three elementary schools on Fridays during the duration of the closure. 


Lincoln Charter School, an approved COVID-19 site, will be serving breakfast and lunch for all children and youth ages 2-18 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. weekdays through March 27 at 559 west King Street. Participants should go to the car pickup area. 


Red Lion Area School District is offering a temporary meal program from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays through March 27 at Mazie Gable Elementary School, 100 E. Prospect St., Red Lion. These lunches are for children up to 18 years old, regardless of family economic status or district residence. Meals will be served curbside from the rear of the building. 


Southern York County School District will have packed lunches available for pick up at Southern Middle School from 11 a.m. to noon on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in a “Grab and Go”. The pack will include two cold lunches and two breakfasts and is available to students under the age of 18. 


West York Area School District will offer takeout lunches beginning Tuesday, March 17 to all district students, regardless of participation in a free or reduced lunch program. Lunches will be distributed from 11 a.m. to noon each day at the middle school cafeteria. 


Northeastern School District will offer FREE Grab-and-Go breakfast/lunch to all children, age 18 and under, in a drive thru format at York Haven Elementary School and Northeastern High School. Pick up will be from 10:00 - 11:30 am 


Central York School District - Grab and Go @ Hayshire Elementary, Stony Brook Elementary, and Central York High School, and York Learning Center 12:00-1:00 for 18 and under. 


Southeastern School District – grab and go breakfast/lunches 3/17, 3/20, 3/24, and 3/27 between 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM at Delta Peach Bottom Elementary (side door adjacent to the cafeteria), Kennard Dale (door adjacent to the cafeteria), and Stewartstown (side door adjacent to the cafeteria). 

Dover Area School District - grab and go breakfast and lunch delivered on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays (multiple days at a time). Being delivered to areas in a school bus. Start Date - Wednesday, March 18th. 

Spring Grove Area School District: Beginning Tuesday, March 17th through Friday, March 27th on weekdays,  SGASD will be providing drive-thru to-go meals (lunch and next day’s breakfast) at no cost for any child 18 years of age or younger, regardless of the family’s economic status. No registration is necessary.  Meals can be picked up at the Spring Grove Area Middle School between the times of 11:00  AM - 1:00 PM. 

South Western School District 

Beginning on Wednesday, March 18, the District will provide grab and go lunches for all students 18 years of age and under each weekday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m at the front entrance of South Western High School.
